Irish are in the driver's seat of the playoff race
Following the season-opening win over Texas A&M, my model now gives Notre Dame the best chance of making the College Football Playoff at 87% and has them more likely than not to advance to the quarterfinal round.
I have the Irish as at least a touchdown favorite in every remaining game, and if things go according to plan we should see Marcus Freeman’s team hosting a home playoff game in December.
